these are the images we took as a pair, we used a canon 600D and a tripod. The chair was one of a few props we decided to use. these images are very similar to the images we found on our research, we wanted to create images that were similar so they were easier to compare. We found in our research that the subjects always looked very serious in the photos, so we wanted to include this in ours this lets the viewer know they are serious photos.

Tripticks.
these are the tripticks photos we took in the studio in the style of david hockney, we were told capture the images of our partner and import them into lightroom where we could fiddle with the effects and lighting etc.

Diane Arbus
i like diane's work because its close of people from the shoulder up, the black and white make it look even better because they are almost depressing photos as well as photos that look like were taken back when there was only black & white photos available. the third photo works well because the young boy is in old fashioned clothes so it makes it look realistic. the other photos which are close ups make you feel as if the photographer is making the photos speak to you, there like personal photos to the photographer.
